 WEBER COUNTY HOLIDAY FESTIVAL

The Weber County Fairgrounds will be the site for the Second Annual Weber County Holiday Festival. The Festival features multi-cultural holiday displays representing winter-related and religious holidays from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. The Festival opens Thursday, December 3 and runs daily through Monday, December 7, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Holiday displays will include nutcrackers, snowmen, trees, crèches, and Santas. Holiday music will be provided by local talented performers. The good news is this event is free.

Check out our pictures from last year's festival on Facebook under Weber County Holiday Festival and/or www.webercountyholidayfestival.com.

We are looking to fill spots with musical groups and wondered if any of your performing groups would be available to render traditional holiday music? The time slots will be 15, 30, or 45 minutes in length. Pianos, risers, microphones, and a sound system will be at your disposal.

The following are times when there will be music performed during the Festival.

            Thursday, December 3        12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

            Friday, December 4              12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

            Saturday, December 5        12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

            Sunday, December 6           12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

            Monday, December 7          12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Please check your calendars to see if any of these dates will work into your schedule. We realize that this is a busy time of year for performing groups, but we feel this will be a wonderful addition to holiday activities in this area and would be honored to have you be a part of this event.

If you would like to participate, please sign up using our contact page or contact our schedulers Denise and Jerry Simon at jdsimon@netzero.com.

We look forward to serving with you in this great holiday tradition!
